The Galley West Gift Shop, The Hammer's Guild, and The Free Shop are some of our specialized outreach ministries of The Church of the Holy Spirit.
The Galley West Craft Shop was the first parish enterprise that helped establish and maintain our parish financially. It boasts of many creative products, including many which are made by our artisans (St. Martha's and Kimball Guilds). It is open to the public during the Winter on Sundays from 10:15--11:00 a.m. and on Mondays from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. During the summer, it is open Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Please come and browse!
The Kimball Guild hammers aluminum, replicating an ancient and historical craft which Florence Kimball, the wife of our first Rector (The Reverend Richard Kimball), taught and sold to help maintain our growing parish after the Depression. Today, our Guild meets every Monday in the Kimball Craft House and creates imaginative aluminum gifts. Custom orders can be taken. We invite your inquiries and interest.
